Below is a list of versions that can corrupt or damage your world and versions that cause crashes. 0.9.0
- Note: the 0.9.0 builds contain numerous inconsistent crash, damage, and softlock bugs that are not documented here.
- If data value 4, 5, or 6 logs were obtained in a previous version, attempting to select any of them in the inventory crashes the game.
- These versions contain multiple glitches that can cause the spawn point in old worlds to be placed at an incorrect location. If a world affected by any of these bugs is updated to alpha 1.1.0.0 – beta 1.9.0.0, the world's borders glitch out and shift to attempt to accommodate the incorrect spawn point. This causes part of the world to get overwritten by the invisible bedrock border without generating any new chunks. Additionally, chunks adjacent to the world border may not render, and if the player walks into the border, they may enter a glitched, jittery state that is not escapable without updating to a later version.
Version | Issue | Bug Report | Danger |
