A Command Exclusive Discontinued Feature is a feature that is exclusively[1] possible using commands normally locked behind the "Allow Commands" or "Allow Cheats" toggle on the world creation screen, or the "Open to LAN" menu on preexisting worlds. These features do not require creating a world with cheats enabled, or opening a world to LAN and enabling cheats. These features simply take advantage of bugs and exploits that allow for temporary use of one or some of these commands. "Temporary" command usage in this context means that the command cannot be used without commands being enabled after updating out of a certain version range. Any method that allows the execution of the /setblock or /summon commands allows for the creation of arbitrary command executing blocks or entities, which can be used in any later version, are categorized separately as command methods.
