Java Edition:Bottle o' Enchanting
The Bottle o' Enchanting was discontinued from 14w02a to 14w30c (1.8 snapshots) when a bug prevented villagers from trading the item. This bug was fixed in 14w31a and it remains obtainable, making this a recontinued feature. While the item was discontinued, the Thrown Bottle o' Enchanting entity was also discontinued.
Obtaining
The Bottle o' Enchanting was first obtainable in 12w21a (1.3 snapshot) as a trade from the Priest profession. This trade remained until 14w02a, when villager trades were overhauled. Due to a bug, clerics were missing the Bottle o' Enchanting trade.[1] At the time, trading was the only method to obtain Bottles o' Enchanting and so they became discontinued until 14w30c. This bug was fixed in 14w31a, recontinuing Bottles o' Enchanting. Bottles o' Enchanting have remained obtainable up to the present version.
