Zero Fish Caught Statistic.png

The Fish Caught Statistic shows how many fish you catch. The Fish Caught Statistic was discontinued twice. First, it was discontinued when the statistic was not tracked from 15w43c (1.9 snapshot) to 1.11. Then, it was discontinued in 20w18a (1.16 snapshot) when fishing was accidentally removed.

The value of this statistic upgraded from a version before the ranges cannot change. It can be anywhere from 1 to 2147483647[1] regularly or theoretically could be -2147483648 to -1 if a negative statistic had been obtained before 20w06a (1.16 snapshot).

Obtaining

Fish Statistic Not Tracked Statistic

From 15w43c (1.9 snapshot) to 1.11, the fish caught, junk fished, and treasure fished statistics were not tracked due to a bug.[2]

Removed Fishing

Due to a bug in 20w18a, the fishing rod did not work.[3] This made it impossible to catch any fish and to get this statistic. The bug was fixed in the very next snapshot 20w19a (1.16 snapshot), recontinuing this statistic.
