Java Edition:Invalid Data Value Acacia Stairs
Invalid Data Value Acacia Stairs are acacia stairs with an invalid data value. In the three April Fools' 2.0 versions (blue, red, and purple) tinted glass was added as a joke. The ID of this tinted glass (that could be any color) was 163. This same ID was later used by acacia stairs when they were added in 1.7. This allowed the conversion of tinted glass into acacia stairs when the ID was readded. The data value on the acacia stairs was removed in 17w47a (1.13 snapshot), making it a deleted discontinued feature.
Obtaining
In the 2.0 versions, the tinted glass could be any color. The color corresponded to the data value of the tinted glass. This item needs to be stored in unloaded chunks until 1.7, when the acacia stairs were added, otherwise they will be deleted upon loading. Depending on the color, the data values 1-15 were available on acacia stairs. In 1.7, acacia stairs were discontinued by themselves, although they were recontinued in the very next version, 1.7.1.
