Jump to search
Invalid data value sandstone is obtainable using block transmutation from 13w36a to 1.7.5. The sandstone can normally have data values of 0 (regular), 1 (chiseled), and 2 (smooth). The block transmutator allows for invalid data values from 3 to 15. The block form of this feature was deleted in 14w26a (1.8 snapshot) and the item form was removed in 17w47a (1.13 snapshot).
Obtaining
The 1.7 variant of the block transmutator must be performed. Using a regular sand block and using a golden pressure plate, the machine should be set using 3-15 arrows. This will create the invalid data value sandstone block, which can then be mined with a pickaxe.
