Java Edition:Invalid Data Value Stone
Invalid data value stone is obtainable using block transmutation and the combination of a Silk Touch pickaxe. Stone can normally have the data values of 0 to 6, being the variants of stone. The block transmutator allows for invalid data values from 7 to 15. The block form of this feature was deleted in 14w26a (1.8 snapshot) and the item form was removed in 17w47a (1.13 snapshot).
Obtaining
The 1.7 variant of the block transmutator must be performed. Using a regular stone block and using a golden pressure plate, the machine should be set using 7-15 arrows. This will create an invalid data value stone block. The world must then be updated to between 14w02a to 14w21b, where a Silk Touch pickaxe can then be used to mine it. This will result in it dropping the invalid data value stone.
