Java Edition:Invalid Mob Wearing Carved Pumpkin
Most mobs normally cannot wear carved pumpkins. However, there has been a method to get all mobs to wear a carved pumpkin.
Obtaining
In the April Fools' version 22w13oneBlockAtATime, players can mine any block including carved pumpkins. Once the block has been broken, the player will hold it in their main hand unless swapped to the offhand using the F key. If the block is in the players main hand, the block can be thrown by right-clicking. If a carved pumpkin is thrown at a mob, or into the air above a mob, the carved pumpkin will be equipped on the mobs helmet armor slot once it hits the mob.

Observability
Carved pumpkins that have been equipped are unobservable on most mobs, and directly observable on some. However, the player can kill these mobs in an attempt to have the carved pumpkin drop which makes this feature also destructively observable, or observable at the cost of destroying the discontinued feature. These carved pumpkins do not have a guaranteed chance to drop, having a drop chance of 0.085f
(8.5%) without looting up to 0.115f
(11.5%) with looting 3. This is different than mobs that can spawn with, or be given carved pumpkins normally[2].

The pumpkin will not show up on most mobs, and can only be seen with NBT data as unobservable data. All mobs can drop the carved pumpkin they are equipped with, however, the drop chance is not guaranteed, at 8.5% without Looting and up to 11.5% with Looting 3. This drop chance also differentiates these mobs from Halloween spawns or villagers with carved pumpkins dispensed onto them, as Halloween spawns have their drop chance set to zero, and dispensed items have their drop chance set to 100%. One can kill the mob and potentially have the carved pumpkin drop (or not drop in the case of villagers), allowing for a Destructively Observable feature. The pumpkin drop will also be a BlockStateTag Item. The following mobs do render their equipped head slot and cannot have a carved pumpkin equipped with another method, allowing for them to be directly observable:
