The Minecraft Wiki has Officially Moved!

The Minecraft Wiki has been planning on moving for a while now, and the time has finally come!
From today forward The Minecraft Wiki will now be found at minecraft.wiki, for additional information checkout the announcement at Moving from Fandom.
We would like to give The Minecraft Wiki a huge amount of hope for a great future, as we have also moved hosts we know that this step is a challenging one but at the same time a rewarding one. Merci The Minecraft Wiki for all that you have given us, and shall continue to give us as time goes on..

Another move update
(June 24th, 2023) This is a quick update to the moving information.
I want to announce we have been officially secured the wiki on the new platform (i.e. it has been created). We are fixing the bugs and transitioning our theme toggler to the new system - to the one the anonymous users will be able to use. And that is just one of the improvements we are working on.
As for the when we will officially launch the wiki, there's no ETA, but we believe it could be as early as next week. We will keep you informed about the date changes. Additionally, we plan on having a WMEDA, which will be an AMA with wiki admins about the new wiki and also about what is going to happen with the old one.
We plan on having one or two updates here before we will launch the wiki.

Update: We are Continuing with the Move
(June 19th 2023)
Miraheze is now planning on possibly staying open, this doesn't not effect our goal to move the wiki for the following reasons:
- Uncertainty
- We are not sure if Miraheze's plan to save the service will work and we are not going to stay to find out.
- Instability
- Miraheze has been on a rocky standing for a while now and we no longer can trust it's services, it's also been very noticeable that Miraheze doesn't offer a great infrastructure and has a lot of downtime and lag.
- Better Alternatives
- This whole situation has made it very clear that other hosts seem to be better, and we believe that Miraheze is not going to get us to where want our to wiki to be.
Our discord moderation team and wiki administration team are in a general agreement with what wiki host we plan on moving to and have seen positive feedback on that host from the greater community. Another host has been chosen as potential backup that we might use if our primary choice is not going to happen but that is still up to be debated. We will share what host we will be moving to once we know everything is confirmed on our end.

Miraheze Shutting Down..
(June 15th 2023)
Miraheze has recently released a statement that they are going to be discontinuing their services..
- Will this wiki go away?
We will be able to fully operate on the Miraheze service until September 1st 2023, after that the wiki will no longer be hosted and be able to be backed up until at least October 1st 2023.
- What is our response to this?
We will move this wiki to a new host! It is not yet determined which host we will be moving to or if we will choose to self host but it is not an option to have this wiki be deleted.
- How does this effect you?
Firstly, accounts.. Your account will NOT be transferred during the move no matter the circumstances.. you will have to create a new account, there is no gurantee you will be able to keep your old username. Secondly, Our wiki will eventually be moved to a new domain with a different host, this may make certain things work differently and break parts of the wiki. We will need to have a grace period to fix any issues that arise from this move.
As we figure out the full situation and have a full conversation with the discord mod team, wiki admins and finally the MCDF community as a whole we will post further information on this issue.

First Barnstar Awarded!
On many wikis there is a tradition to reward editors with "Barnstars", today (June 13th 2023) the very first Barnstar has been awarded to User:TreeIsLife for their non-stop working tidying up pages!
