Brewing stands have a block item that is normally unobtainable. This block item functions identically to the regular brewing stand item.
Obtaining
Mining
From Pocket Edition v0.12.1 alpha build 1 to build 11, simply mining a brewing stand with any pickaxe causes the brewing stand block item to drop.
Silk Touch
From v0.12.1 alpha build 1 to v0.12.3 alpha, mining brewing stands with a Silk Touch-enchanted pickaxe causes the brewing stand block item to drop.
