Chorus Plants are not normally obtainable as an item. However, it can be obtained in versions between alpha 0.17.0.1 and alpha 1.0.0.0.
Obtaining
To obtain the Chorus Plant, you need a pickaxe enchanted with silk touch. After finding the chorus plant, simply mine it with the pickaxe. This will result in the Chorus Plant dropping as an item.[test]
