Wandering traders can normally sell dye, however due to a bug in 1.16 betas, only ink sacs could be sold, temporarily discontinuing wandering traders with dye trades
Obtaining
Wandering traders that spawn normally in 1.10.3 through 1.16.100.55 and in 1.16.210.54 through Beta 1.21.0.23/preview 1.21.0.24 (present) have a roughly 5/33 chance of spawning with a dye trade, with an additional 1/16 chance for each specific dye color.
