Wandering traders have always sold coral blocks. However, from 1.12.3 through 1.16.0.55 the trade was changed to selling 3 coral blocks for 1 emerald. In 1.16.0.57 it was reverted back to selling 1 coral block for 3 emeralds.
Obtaining
Wandering traders that spawn normally in 1.10.3 through 1.12.2 and in 1.16.0.57 through Beta 1.21.0.23/preview 1.21.0.24 (present) have a roughly 5/33 chance of spawning with a coral block trade, with an additional 1/5 chance for each specific coral block variant. This trade will be in one of the first 5 slots, and it will always be 3 emeralds for 1 coral block.
