Bedrock Edition:Invalid Data Value Anvil (Item)

Anvils normally have three data values that are obtainable in item form: 0, 4, and 8. However, it has been possible to obtain several other anvil data values through unintended means.

Obtaining

Falling anvils

From v0.15.0 alpha build 1 to 1.0.3, if a falling anvil falls onto a block that cannot support gravity blocks, the dropped item will have the data value of that falling anvil.

Updating

In Pocket Edition alpha 1.1.0.0, slightly damaged and very damaged anvils had their damage/metadata values changed from 4 and 8 to 1 and 2. However, this change was reverted in Bedrock Edition beta 1.2.13.5, making anvils with damage/metadata values 1 and 2 unobtainable, thus allowing damage/metadata values 1 and 2 to be obtainable in survival mode by updating slightly damaged and very damaged anvils from any version between Pocket Edition alpha 1.1.0.0 and Bedrock Edition 1.2.11 to Bedrock Edition beta 1.2.13.5+.
