reserved6 is an unused former technical block. It is not intended to be obtainable in normal gameplay; however, there are multiple glitches that have made this block obtainable in some versions.

Obtaining

Inventory conversion glitch

When a world last played during Pocket Edition v0.9.0 alpha build 1 through alpha 1.1.0.1 is opened in beta 1.2.13.5 or 1.2.13.6, the player's hotbar gets filled with reserved6. These reserved6 stacks all have a count of -1 (displayed as 99+ in-game) and have a damage value of either -1 or a positive number ranging from 9 to 44.

Upon updating to beta 1.2.13.8 or later, any understacked reserved6 is deleted from the player's inventory. Due to a separate glitch, understacked reserved6 is unable to be transferred out of the player's inventory through any means other than death. This results in two ways of retaining reserved6 stacks: placing down a block with each slot of understacked reserved6, or killing the player. Both retaining methods change the count of every reserved6 stack to 64.

Falling block transmutation

reserved6 can be obtained via falling block transmutation. This method works from beta 1.16.0.52 to beta 1.16.100.52.
