A Deleted Discontinued Feature is a discontinued feature that is deleted, or converted to a normally obtainable feature when updating. These features are however not useless, many of them can be used to acquire additional current discontinued features.

- 13w37a, a 1.7.2 snapshot, removed many unintentional block items.
- 14w25a, a 1.8 snapshot, removed remaining unintentional block items.
- 14w26a, a 1.8 snapshot, removed all nonstandard data value variants of blocks in the world.
- 17w47a, a 1.13 snapshot, then brought The Flattening, deleting or converting invalid data value blocks and invalid data value items to regularly obtainable blocks and items.
- 21w40a, a 1.18 snapshot, converted many variant biomes into their base versions as to bring worlds in line with new biome rules.
