It is possible to obtain a Nether Portal with an update glitch.

Obtaining

To obtain a Nether Portal with an update glitch, you must update a normal Nether Portal from ?^[test] to ?^[test]. This will result in the Nether Portal's position being set as invalid. This causes the portal blocks to be rotated incorrectly.
