Double slabs are created by placing 2 slabs on top of eachother. They are normally not obtainable as items, but are able to be obtained by updating to beta 1.11.0.1.

Obtaining

Conversion

Updating slabs into beta 1.11.0.1 will cause them to be converted into double slabs.[1] Wooden slabs will not convert.

Gravity Block Conversions

Double Stone Slab variants can be obtained via gravity block conversion. This method can be done until 1.16.100.
