An Invalid Data Value Discontinued Feature is a feature that involves blocks and items with invalid data values. These features can exist exclusively as blocks or as items, hence the reason for the subcategories.

What are Data Values?

Data values are additional number tags added to blocks and items in order to differentiate between block/item types before 1.13 changed all blocks and items to a namespace format. For example andesite, diorite, and granite are all stone blocks or items with additional data values (ex. stone= data value 1. andesite= data value 1:5), before 1.13 convert them to namespaces (ex. stone= Minecraft:stone. andesite= Minecraft:andesite).

And due to 1.13 converting all data values to namespaces it's infamous for removing any and all Invalid Data Value Features by converting them to regular items.
