When villager trades were revamped in 19w11a (1.14 snapshot), librarians had a trade of 3 bookshelves for 6 emeralds. Due to this trade, it became very easy to duplicate emeralds with villager curing and the book buy trade. This prompted Mojang to nerf the trade to 1 bookshelf for 9 emeralds in 19w45a (1.15 snapshot)[1].
Obtaining
First, obtain a villager from 19w11a to 19w44a. Use a lectern to assign it the librarian profession. If the villager does not gain the bookshelf trade, break and replace the lectern to refresh the trade. This trade is a Tier 1 trade.
