When the fuel slot for brewing stands was first introduced, 15w42a (1.9 snapshot), each blaze powder fueled 30 brewing stand interactions. This was lowered to 20 in the next snapshot, however, a brewing stand with a fuel tag higher than 20 would keep that tag. In order to view this feature without commands, you would have to insert more than 20 ingredients in a brewing stand, which would no longer keep the status of the higher fuel. This makes this a semi-observable discontinued feature.
