In 17w13a (1.12 snapshot), you could have a parrot enter love mode by feeding it wheat. This isn't possible now, and will go away with time.
Obtaining
To do this, simply get a parrot in 17w13a and feed it some wheat. The parrot will enter love mode and display the red hearts, despite normally not being able to. The effect will fade out after a while, making it a temporary discontinued feature. The parrots won't breed while in love mode, only gaining the particles. They cannot be fed again after this.
