From 12w21a through 12w21b, Priests would often ask for far more rotten flesh than in later versions. Priests typically trade an Emerald for 36-40 rotten flesh, but in these versions they could go as high as an entire stack.
Obtaining
This was a quantity trade not present in future versions where priest villagers would demand far more rotten flesh than priests would afterwards. It could be received simply from interacting with priest villagers until you found one that had it.
