Java Edition:Shulker Box With BlockEntityTag.CustomName Tag
From version 16w39b through 1.13.2, due to a bug,[1] there is a way to create a Shulker Box that doesn't display a custom name in the inventory, but will show its name when placed on the ground.
Obtaining
The way to obtain this shulker box has a few steps. First, the shulker box can be named to anything. Then it must be placed and broken. Then, the name has to be deleted in an anvil. This doesn't work if it is renamed, the name must be deleted in order to return to the original name. Once the custom name is removed, the item is final. The name will not appear in the inventory, but will reappear if placed, however placing the shulker box removes the discontinued aspect of the item. This also works with any color of shulker box. The reason this occurs is because removing the name will update the custom name tag, but will not update the block entity custom name tag.
