Java Edition:Boots with Swift Sneak
In the Deep Dark Experimental Snapshot 1, Swift Sneak was an enchantment exclusively for boots. However, the enchantment was changed to apply to leggings due to community feedback.[1]
Obtaining
In Deep Dark Experimental Snapshot 1, enchanted books with Swift Sneak could be obtained in Ancient City loot chests. Swift Sneak could be applied to boots in this version only. The Swift Sneak enchantment was discontinued in 22w11a and 22w12a, but in every version after 22w12a, it can only be applied to leggings. Swift Sneak can be applied to any of the six types of boots, and there are many combinations possible when put together with the other enchantments in different orders.[test] The Swift Sneak enchantment will have no effects on boots in any version past Deep Dark Experimental Snapshot 1.
