From 1.16 Pre-release 5 to 1.18 experimental snapshot 7, after placing a jukebox in a stack, the rest of the stack gains an empty NBT tag.[1] This bug was caused by the fix of a separate bug that caused jukeboxes to have indispensable discs when grabbed with the NBT picker in creative mode.[2] This feature is observable via testing that these jukeboxes do not stack with regular jukeboxes. The item loses its discontinued empty tag when updating into 24w09a or later due to the removal of item NBT.
