In April Fools snapshot 3D Shareware v1.34, it was possible to obtain powerful effects simply by typing a cheat code.
Obtaining
In snapshot 3D Shareware v1.34, simply type the cheat code FLASHAAAAA. Then, "Gordon's ALIVE!" will appear in the chat, followed by the player receiving Jump Boost 20, Speed 20 and Haste 20 for 1 minute. As the cheat codes are only available in singleplayer, this feature is not available in multiplayer. In addition, due to the fact that the effects only last for one minute, this is a temporary discontinued feature.
