Obtaining
In 22w14a, a Lodestone Recovery compass was obtainable by using a recovery compass on a lodestone.[1] This adds the Lodestone Compass NBT data and renames the item to Lodestone Compass. Obtaining this also gives the player a used statistic for the recovery compass. The Lodestone Recovery Compass will point to the last death location.
Magnetizing stacked Recovery Compass will make them become magnetized compasses.
Upgrading it to any later version will cause you to lose the glint. The item name will be reversed, but the nbt tag will be present, so it's a unobservable discontinued item.
