In the April Fools' version 23w13a_or_b, the moon dimension was added. This dimensions was stored in a new folder. While the dimension can not be visited in later versions, the moon dimension folder remains in the world folder, making this a file discontinued feature
Obtaining
In 23w13a_or_b, the moon dimension folder is created when entering the moon. The moon dimension is accessed by going 700 blocks up into the air.
Contents
Within the world folder, the moon dimension is stored at World/dimensions/minecraft/the_moon. Like other dimensions, there can are four possible subfolders:
data: Contains the raids.dat file with information about raidsentities: Entities in the moon dimensionregion: Blocks, structure locations, light levels, local difficulty, and other region informationpoi: Points of interest such as bee nests and villager workstations
