Unconnected corner stairs refers to stairs that are bent in the shape of a corner but have no stair next to them to cause that bending. These blocks are still possible to create but rely on a bug to create. They are possible via update suppression and chunk savestating two very powerful block discontinued feature tools.
Variants
The stairs can be any type, if more stairs are added after the bug is fixed this will no longer be the case. The stairs' corner can also be facing northeast, northwest, southeast, or southwest.
Chunk Savestating
Chunk savestating can be used to cut a stair away on a chunk border without causing an update. Although it is possible to overload a chunk without written books its highly impractical, and this method is patched in 1.15.
