WMEDA #17: Images

Thank you everyone who joined the 17th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 15 January, 2022! This WMEDA's theme was Images for focusing on all these files across the wiki. This was our first WMEDA of the new year, which is incredible because now we can say 2021 was our first full year of wiki & WMEDAs. This was a relatively small WMEDA and little got done. A large factor for this was that WMEDA was on the same day Miraheze moved its servers and so the loading times were extremely long (we're excited for the improved new servers once the move is done though!). WMEDA #18: Version Pages

Thank you everyone who joined the 18th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 6 February, 2022! This WMEDA's theme was "Version Pages" and we improved each page from Pre-Classic to 1.18 significantly. Specifically, the SAMVIDs were implemented into version pages, finally allowing them to be sorted by update order. The time spent on the voice call was much shorter than the editing work span. WMEDA #19

Thank you everyone who joined the 19th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 26 March, 2022! This WMEDA we were able to improve the JE:Block Transmutation page with the new Moving Piston Merge Transmutation! Kream somehow went from building a train, to playing Metal Gear, to playing Minecraft Xbox 360 using Xenia. Sl1mJ1m helped both Kream & NameBrainDead use Xenia and then played some Plants vs. Zombies. A minor WMEDA, may have been overshadowed by the upcoming April Fools' event which will hopefully bring in new discontinued features!

WMEDA #20: oneWMEDAAtATime

Thank you everyone who joined the 20th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 9 April, 2022! This WMEDA's focus was on adding all the many incredible discontinued features that were added in the April Fools' version 22w13oneBlockAtATime. There are so many new features that we still have a ton of work updating many pages on the wiki. The addition of the table at blocks endermen spawn holding in 22w13obaat makes the Enderman Holding Invalid Block page the longest page once again. Additionally, User:Brickdylan helped set up a new featured article system for the wiki that will soon be added to the main page.

WMEDA #21: May Fools'

WMEDA #24

Thank you everyone who joined the 24th Wiki Day Extravaganza from 13 August, 2022 until 19 August, 2022! User:John119 along with User:Kiz, User:WyvernElement, and User:brickdylan helped extend this WMEDA to a new record length to over 6 days!! Due to this long duration, we also got a new record of 14 new users!

WMEDA #25

Thank you everyone who joined the 25th Wiki Day Extravaganza from 10 September, 2022 until 14 September, 2022! This WMEDA was very successful: it lasted a long time and lots was accomplished. Sl1mJ1m discovered IDV Golden Apples in Bedrock Edition and bluecrab2 began development on an improved Classic -> Indev converter resulting in several Java Edition file discontinued feature discoveries. This WMEDA also incredibly marks 1/4 of 100 WMEDAs!

WMEDA #26

Thank you everyone who joined the 26th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 1 October, 2022 (going into 2 October, 2022)! This was the first WMEDA to implement a time limit cap. It was capped at 48 hours since the WMEDAs have been stretched so long and past the second day (after the weekend), nothing is done on the wiki and everyone just stays AFK in the voice chat. The vote for this change was extremely close though so we plan to have some uncapped WMEDAs in the future still. It just so happened the duration of this WMEDA was 12:49 which is the special time for 12w49a, the snapshot where Java Edition:Any Enchantment on Any Item is obtainable! Although the time stat ends when the last person left the voice chat, the WMEDA edits continued strongly into Sunday (mainly thanks to User:Sl1mJ1m!) and so Sunday actions are counted for stats this WMEDA. User:Left-Eye also helped fix several bugs in the wiki's skin this WMEDA. Despite the much shorter length, we got even more edits and a lot more new articles compared to last WMEDA!

WMEDA #27

Thank you everyone who joined the 27th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 12 November, 2022 (going into 13 November, 2022)! During this WMEDA, AntVenom published there are DANGEROUS Versions of Minecraft?! using our wiki's Java Edition:Potentially Dangerous Versions page! The duration was intentionally stopped to be 11:49 like the 11w49a snapshot that allowed Java Edition:B Creative Mode. The edit count this WMEDA was especially due to the work of User:Kimowin. Additionally, Sl1mJ1m played his strange playlist.

WMEDA #28

Thank you everyone who joined the 28th Wiki Day Extravaganza on 31 December, 2022 (lasted until 2 January, 2023)! This WMEDA is the first to span across two years! It was running in both 2022 and 2023. The two years span was planned and thanks to the AFK work of greencrab6! (The 48 hour cap was waived for this goal)
