Jack o'Lanterns could go into the head armor slot from 23w06a to 1.20 Pre-release 4. This bug allowed the jack o'lantern to be placed onto armor stands and also in the player's helmet slot and allowed undead mobs to wear jack o'lanterns with NBT.
Obtaining
From 23w06a (1.19 snapshot) to 1.20 Pre-release 4, the player could simply right-click an armor stand while holding a jack o'lantern and it would go onto the head slot.[1] A dispenser could not be used to put the jack o'lantern onto an armor stand.
Combos
Other discontinued items can be put on the armor stand at any time. In addition, these other discontinued attributes can be combined onto the same armor stand:
- Armor Stand Holding Shield
- Armor Stand in Minecart
- Invalid Mob Stack
- Overstacked Armor on Armor Stand
