Structure Block Chest.PNG

In 18w47a and 18w47b (1.14 snapshots), all chests in ocean ruins would generate with structure block data.[1]

Obtaining

The data has the signature of LadyAgnes, though this is an unobservable feature. All of the chests share this NBT for a structure block:

{metadata: "chest", mirror: "NONE", ignoreEntities: 1b, powered: 0b, seed: 0L, author: "LadyAgnes", rotation: "NONE", posX: 0, mode: "DATA", posY: 1, sizeX: 0, posZ: 0, integrity: 1.0f, showair: 0b, name: "", id: "minecraft:structure_block", sizeY: 0, sizeZ: 0, showboundingbox: 1b}

. The coordinate data (x, y, and z) will depend on the location of the chest.

Behavior

Structure block chests do not open, and hoppers cannot insert items into it, but it could still be visibly connected to create double chests. The double chest variants would appear to open as a double chest, but only have the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of a single chest. In addition, they would only open by clicking on the chest with chest block data.
