Due to a bug[1] in 1.6.2 (pre-release), every zombie (including zombie pigmen) would spawn with the tag IsBaby set to true. This meant no adult zombies would spawn. However, they were then recontinued in the full version of 1.6.2.
Obtaining
From Indev 20100124 to 1.6.1, zombies always spawn as adults. However, in 1.6.2 (pre-release), only baby zombies can spawn. Despite this, there is a way to get a mob with loot in a couple simple steps.
- First, you must obtain a zombie from Indev 20100124 to 1.6.1
- Then, simply update the adult zombie to 1.6.2 (pre-release)
If you follow these steps, you can obtain an adult zombie in 1.6.2 (pre-release), where only baby zombies can spawn. This means that you have a zombie that cannot regularly spawn.
