In Indev 0.31 20100122, Lava Spawners, also known as "Volcano Blocks", were introduced.
These blocks were used to generate and transport lava before buckets were introduced in Infdev 20100615.
Obtaining
Creating a world in Indev 0.31 20100122 gives the player 5 lava spawner blocks. This blocks can also be obtained from Indev houses from Indev 0.31 20100124 to Indev 0.31 20100128.
If you update to Infdev 20100624 the game will crash due to the removal of its id.
Updating to Infdev 20100629 the lava spawners will be converted to oak stairs.
A curious fact is that in Infdev 2010618 the lava spawner instead of generating lava generates obsidian.
