No NBT Bee Nest are Bee Nests without any NBT tags. Bee Nests (not to be confused with Bee Hives) always have NBT tags when obtained in survival, but with an NBT removal glitch, it's possible to obtain them without NBT tags. Even a completely empty bee nest normally has NBT when mined with Silk Touch.

Usually when mined, the empty bee nest NBT when broken will be {BlockEntityTag: {Bees: []}, BlockStateTag: {honey_level: "0"}}. The honey level can be increased and the bees array will gain data if a bee enters the bee nest and it's Silk Touched.

Obtaining

By shift-clicking a stack of two or more items in an Enchanting Table any NBT tag will be cleared. This can allow the player to obtain a No NBT Bee Nest. Any bee or honey level inside will be deleted. This method of removing NBT has worked from version 12w24a until 1.15.2, but has only worked with Bee Nests since they were added, in 19w34a. Note that Bee Nests, in order to stack in the first place, require identical honey levels and bees inside (easiest if there are no bees), and both states will be cleared at the end of the process.
