A Permanent Discontinued Feature is a feature that is not destroyed by the game ticking it. These features may still be destroyed by other means, such as block placement, block breaking, block interaction, entity interaction, killing entities, lighting strikes, explosions, etc.

Current features are categorized by their permanence in the latest version, deleted features by their permanence in the last version they exist in, and recontinued features by their permanence in the latest version they are discontinued in.
