An Indirect Observable Discontinued Feature is a feature that requires specific, nondestructive, tests to determine whether it's discontinued.
Specific Definitions
A discontinued feature is indirectly observable if:
- The player can directly view it, but additional testing is needed to differentiate it from a normal feature.
- For blocks, the discontinued state of the block is only visible in the F3 debug screen.
- For items, the discontinued state is visible when hovering over it in the inventory while tooltips are enabled, using F3 + H.
- For entities, the discontinued state needs to be confirmed through nondestructive tests.
