Obtaining
1.7 Block Transmutation
The 1.7 variant of the block transmutator must be performed. Using an acacia log block facing upwards/downwards and using a golden pressure plate, the machine should be set using 2 or 3 arrows. This will create the invalid data value log2 block, which can then be mined using a pickaxe. More arrows can be used, but the resulting block will always be mod 4 of the number of arrows used (if 7 arrows are used, 7 % 4 = 3, so you will end up with the data value of 3 log2).
