As an item, Powered Redstone Repeaters were obtainable in Beta 1.6 Test Build 3. They were then deleted in 13w37a (1.7 snapshot). The Powered Redstone Repeaters will disappear from all inventories; they will not convert into the regular repeater item. When placed it will flash as powered, and then unpower unless properly powered.
Obtaining
Beta 1.6 Test Build 3 Debug Chests
In Beta 1.6 Test Build 3, any newly generated world would contain up to 11 debug chests with every item in the game. The Powered Redstone Repeater item was obtainable in the chests 4th and 7th from the left in the 9th and 23rd slots respectively, in stacks of 64.
