Java Edition:Incorrect Position End City

Usually, there are set locations where the end city structure can generate, but due to 2 different bugs, it has been possible for the end city structure to spawn in invalid positions.
Obtaining
Any Location End Cities
In 18w46a (1.14 snapshot), end cities could spawn in the air in the void or near the main end island due to a bug.
Invalid Height End Cities
In 21w13a (1.17 snapshot), the height of the end was unintentionally changed, as seen in the 21w13a End Terrain page. This change would cause end cities to spawn at higher locations than usual, even being cut off by the world height.
Provability
There are many listed ways to prove that a Terrain Discontinued Feature is truly discontinued, but there are only two[test] valid factors that can prove that Invalid Position End Cities were not built by the player or other forms of building. If the structure is past the world border, it is discontinued, as building past the world border was only possible before the blocks in end cities were added. If the structure is not past the end city, you can prove that it is discontinued because of the chests that have loot tables, as they cannot be recreated by the player.[n 1]
