A Destructively Observable Feature is a feature that can only be proven discontinued in normal gameplay by irreversibly altering, destroying, or killing it.

Current features are categorized by their observability in the latest version, deleted features by their observability in the last version they exist in, and recontinued features by their observability in the latest version they are discontinued in.

Specific Definitions

A discontinued feature is destructively observable if:

  • The player can directly view it but needs to irreversibly alter, destroy, or kill it to observe its discontinued state.
    • For blocks, the block must be placed, destroyed, or irreversibly altered from its discontinued state.
    • For items, the item must be used, or irreversibly altered from its discontinued state.
    • For entities, the entity must be killed, or irreversibly altered from its discontinued state.
