A Destructively Observable Feature is a feature that can only be proven discontinued in normal gameplay by irreversibly altering, destroying, killing, or damaging it.

Specific Definitions

A discontinued feature is destructively observable if:

  • The player can directly view it but needs to destroy, harm, or be harmed by it to observe its discontinued state.
    • For blocks, the block must be destroyed, or irreversibly altered from its discontinued state.
    • For items, the item must be placed or used in some way.
    • For entities, the entity must be injured or killed, or injure the player.
