An Upgrade Exclusive Discontinued Feature is a feature that is exclusively[1] possible using upgrading. Upgrading is the process of updating a feature from a previous version of the game to a later version, the exact opposite of downgrading. These version upgrades can be very specific, and are necessary in order to acquire these features. Follow page instructions carefully.

  1. Pages that cover multiple features where one set of features is exclusive to one category and another set is exclusive to another are categorized as both.

All feature articles that require upgrading will have this warning:

Specific Definitions

  • These features require specific version upgrades to acquire. They cannot be obtained through playing the game in any single version.
  • As some find this category confusing, for clarification, these features are unique as they require upgrading a normal feature to a specific version range to become discontinued. Non-upgrade discontinued features often are obtained in a single version in the past, where they were obtainable, and then upgraded to a version outside of their range of obtainability.
